At Insight Financial Services, we foster a spirit of lifelong learning for adults of all ages through our Retirement Planners University. Founded in 2015 and formerly called the Insight Financial Services Senior College, we have partnered with two area Community centers to deliver a full curriculum on a variety of topics relative to those nearing and/or at retirement age.
Planning for a retirement that may very well last 10, 20, 30 years or longer may be overwhelming! For those families assisting aging parents, the challenges may become even greater!! Breaking it down piece-by-piece not only makes sense but makes it easier to plan ahead so you can take a proactive versus reactive approach to retirement planning. Topics to be presented in the Retirement Planners University address a wide variety of needs you are likely to face in your retirement years. All attendees will receive a free gift for each class attended.

Long-term investing offers opportunities to grow wealth, fight inflation, increase personal freedom and help ensure a comfortable future. It's almost become something of a necessity, as it may be one of the best ways to retire comfortably. It requires careful thought, analysis and discipline. Attend this class and learn about: different types of investment principles; knowing yourself and your goals and next steps to take. Learn about investing from the ground up and discover what is right for you and your goals. Success all begins with a strategy that fits your needs, personality and objectives.
“Long-term Care: What You Need to Know”, Greg Keal, CLU®, RFC®
The costs of paying for housing and care in retirement continue to rise and are directly related to whether one resides in their home or in a senior living facility, as well as the services and level-of-care needed. Few have the financial resources to pay for such expenses out-of-pocket so purchasing Long-term Care Insurance policy may be an important piece of your retirement planning strategy. We'll also examine who needs long-term care services, the costs of long-term care and how to pay for them. Additionally, we'll focus on the different types of Long-term Care contracts and policies available and how they work.
“Managing Your Lifestyle”, Pete Martinez, MBA
Have you considered what your lifestyle will look like in retirement? It may or may not resemble that of your working years. In this in-depth discussion, we'll take a look at how smart lifestyle strategies put in place today can enhance your lifestyle now, while at the same time, potentially freeing-up assets to invest for the long-term which, in turn, may have a positive effect on your lifestyle in retirement.
